The File item allows another database to be opened other than the database
configured in the ini.

Double clicking a string (with no spaces) will attempt to launch the program
associated with the string i.e. an url will launch your internet browser,
a path will open the folder, a doc will open Word, a txt will open notepad.

Edit
The Add item creates a blank record.
The Cancel Edit item discards any changes you have made to the current record.
The Delete item deletes the current record.
The Date-Time button inserts the date and time at the current cursor position
(for tracking data entry).
The Reformat item adds a carriage return at the 80th character in each line.
It is used to format pages from the web etc. that use unformatted paragraphs.
The Search item allows full searches for any string.

The Change Font item changes the display font to a fixed font, rather than the
default proportional font. This is used for tables so that they line up
properly.

Clicking Launch item will attempt to launch the program associated with a
highlighted string i.e. an url will launch your internet browser,
a path will open the folder, a doc will open Word, a txt will open notepad.

The Print item prints to the default printer.

The Exit item exits.

Control - t will insert the date and time at the current cursor position.
Control - tab is a tab - an ordinary tab will move to the next control on the
form.


The ini's.
BMW.ini:
first line is the database to open on startup
second line is the character width to use when reformating


Size.ini:
first and second lines are the last screen size and position.
third line is harder to explain. The first number is how many tabs per line.
If you are running a low resolution monitor you may need to reduce this number.
The default is 13 so you have 2 rows of tabs. With a smaller screen you can
change to 9 and get 3 rows of tabs etc. Try different sizes.
The second number is the width of the tab. When running low resolution, you
will want to reduce this number.
